"The location is absolutely perfect to explore Normandy. We had a week here and visited all the D Day beaches, plus had a couple of trips to Bayeux which is literally a 10 minute drive away with Arromanches walkable or a 3 minute drive. Nearby boulangeries supermarkets and boucheries Close to Port En Bassin with good restaurants. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped (including a fantastic coffee machine!)so we ate at home a couple of times and enjoyed the barbecue - the charcoal was supplied which was brilliant. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing. A downstairs bedroom, shower and toilet made it really accessible for anyone with mobility issues and the outside terrace was a great place to unwind. Huge TV and ability to log in to Amazon and Netflix was a bonus. Host was brilliant - responsive and flexible"

"Location was good for visiting all the many D-DAY landing sites, museums, cemeteries and memorials. Lovely large garden and very peaceful. Large kitchen. Overall a lovely stay. Loads of board games provided which we enjoyed."

"If there were photos of the stairs we might not of booked as the second story stairs were very narrow and steep. One of the top bedrooms had loads of ants over everything , even after buying ant traps. The downstairs toilet door doesn’t close. Couldn’t work out how to use the hob but good oven and there is a microwave. No bath towels provided."
